Fontana Village Resort maintains a full schedule of activities and fun throughout all four seasons. Every day has a full plate of fun and excitement on our amazing property or in the outdoors.     The Mountainview Restaurant: Located at the Main Lodge, The Mountainview Restaurant boast both great food and an amazing view of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. View the menus: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.
    The Wildwood Grill: Located in the center of the Fontana Village Resort, Wildwood Grill offers a warm and charming ambience, wonderful food, and friendly service. Whether you dine on the lively patio or settle into a cozy table inside, you'll enjoy mountain views with music, food, and great friends! View the Menu.
    The Bear's Den Lounge: Located in the Lodge, Bear's Den offers a full bar and food service from next-door Mountainview Restaurant. Open during dinner service hours at the restaurant, Bear's Den Lodge is the perfect spot for relaxing with a cocktail or glass of wine at sunset.
    Sweets & Snacks: Fontana Village offers a number of other venues for treats and snacks. Find something amazing at the Ice Cream Parlor. Opened seasonally, the Ice Cream Parlor serves up a variety of classic sweet and frozen treats such as fresh baked cookies, hand dipped ice cream cones with all of the toppings, and so much more. The Stone Creek Pool Snack Bar is open seasonally and serves snacks and cold beverages poolside.
  • Hit the Water at the Marina:
    Situated on the beautiful 30 mile long Fontana Lake. Watercraft rentals include pontoon boats, canoes, kayaks, and paddle boards. Dockage and mooring available if you prefer to bring your own watercraft. Enjoy fishing areas you can walk to from the Marina, and try your hand at catching small mouth and spotted bass and brim.   • Shuttle Services: For those looking for access to some of the most remote sections of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park's western region, Fontana Village offers drop-off and scheduled pick-up services by boat to many locations along the northern shore of Fontana Lake. Take advantage of this shuttle service for transportation to spectacular back-country hiking and camping.

  • The Stecoah Valley Cultural Arts Center offers up mountain culture with everything from artesian crafts and fine art to live music with its summer concert series. It adds the perfect authentic flair to any Smoky Mountain vacation.
  • Harrah's Cherokee Casino on the Cherokee Reservation offers gaming and live concerts by national recording artists.
  • The Great Smoky Mountain Railroad provides excursions through the forested valleys of Western North Carolina along its 53 miles of tracks. Explore the countryside and pick out the perfect spot for a getaway.

  • Wildwater Rafting and Ziplining offers stunning views of the Nantahala Gorge and Great Smoky Mountains National Park that give the Mountaintop Zip Line Tour its distinct mountaintop feel. Please mention PA at the time of making a reservation. Credit cards accepted. No discounts on tent sites. Pets must be on leash. No horses allowed.
