Hidden Valley Campground is an ideal place for family vacations,
honeymoons, a weekend getaway, school groups, clubs, or a family reunion. The
campground provides a basketball court, horseshoes, game room, playground, and
volleyball area (basketballs and volleyballs are available). Mother Nature provides
a gentle creek, cool evenings and very few mosquitoes.

Hidden Valley Campground is
seven acres of shady valley. We are six miles South of Deadwood on
Highway 385. 1,500' off the highway and at an elevation of 5280', we can
provide campers a pleasant place to stay while enjoying the Black Hills. Paradise Creek flows through the campground & joins up with
Bear Butte Creek. Pine trees provide shade at most of the sites. Some of
the sites are under trees as well as along the creek. You won't find a
better place for a great night's sleep, which you might need after
spending the day seeing the many beautiful, interesting, & fun
sights in the Black Hills.

have 30 amp service. The dump station is easily accessible and free Wi-Fi is available to all guests. All of the sites have a fire barrel and a picnic
table, and some of the sites have patios.

The small game room has arcade games and
a pool table. The laundry has three washers and three dryers and is coin
operated. A sink for those who don't want to heat water at the site is
available for washing dishes. A covered patio area next to the game/laundry
room is available for our guests' use. A gas grill can be rented for a small
fee.

The store has most everything a camper might need pop, beer, bread, candy,
ice cream and much more. Wood for the fire barrels is available
for purchase at the store. Our new shower house/restroom facility is top quality!
Plenty of hot, soft water is available.

An added value to Hidden Valley Campground is our new
sister campground located next door. Steel Wheel Campground & Trading Post
offers a full complement of C Store conveniences; food, drinks, gasoline,
diesel, propane, and video lottery.

Also located at the Steel Wheel premise is the 'Pub n Grub' restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It is open seven days a week and just a short walk from any campsite.
The restaurant provides outstanding food and service for our guest's
convenience. Stop in and try the
great food.

Shuttle service is available from the campground to
Deadwood and return at a reasonable cost via "The Campground Express"
shuttle. Schedules are available at the office/store.
