Bass Haven
is located in the panhandle of Florida, on Juniper
Lake just outside historic DeFuniak Springs. There are also three
natural springs located within a fifteen mile radius and one of the most
beautiful coasts in the world, the Emerald Coast on the Gulf ofMexico, is only a short 35 mile drive from the Campground.

“We stayed
at Bass Haven Campground one night on our way to a Habitat build in Thibodaux,
LA. This is one of the cleanest places we have seen in a long time. It is small
with mostly long term occupants but all campsites are very well kept. There are
only 5 sites available for rentals and only two with 50A available at this
time, and 2 pull thrus. Sites are gravel with some on concrete. Very quiet and
on the lake. I wish we had more time and will definitely call ahead to see if a
site is available for our rig with two slides when we are passing thru again. “

“We are
from Oregon and have been traveling since July 29,2012. We have made it to the
east coast. We are in a campground called,"Bass Heaven", in Defuniak
Springs. This is a small campground with only 20 spaces. The people here are
just the best, they bent over backwards to make your stay a good one. The
restrooms are so clean and neat. We are so happy we made this a stop on
