Top of The Hill RV Resort & Cabins, Boerne, TX - Passport America Participating Park

A special place on top of the hill awaits you! Just minutes northwest of historic Boerne, Texas, and minutes south of historic Comfort, Texas, lies the beautiful Top of the Hill RV Resort & Cabins. With easy access to I-10, from either direction, this uniquely beautiful RV Resort & Cabin facility combines a perfect setting in picturesque Texas Hill Country with all of the amenities you require and expect. Take in the amazing views after you hook up at one of 103 RV sites, pitch your tent, or after you drop your bags in one of nine cozy cabins. Come for the Texas hospitality, stay for the spectacular views and homey atmosphere!

Open year-round, Top of the Hill RV Resort offers many amazing amenities which include:
  • The General Store | Top of the Hill's store has an old=time feel and carries essential groceries and RV supplies. It is stocked with beer, Texas wines, cigarettes, milk, beverages, water, bread, canned goods, toiletries, laundry supplies, pet supplies, candy, snacks, ice cream, and more. The general store is also the Resort Office.
    Store Hours: Monday through Sunday: 10:00 am - 6:00 pm. Closed 1:00 - 2:00 pm for lunch.
  • The Cabins | Top of the Hill cabins are decorated in a variety of country styles. The outside includes a front porch with magnificent views. The interiors contain modern comforts, and come fully furnished with all necessary linens plus satellite TV.
  • The Vista Banquet Hall | A 1,920 square foot facility with 10' ceilings and loaded with large windows to provide views in all directions. This banquet room has seating for 120 people at 20 eight-foot tables, plus you have six extra tables for serving. Vistas Banquet Hall has a fully-equipped kitchen including refrigerator/freezer, microwave, stove, oven, sinks, coffee makers, and plenty of counter and storage space. Vistas Banquet Hall is a wonderful place for your social events, club gatherings, family gatherings such as wedding receptions, reunions, graduations, quinceaƱeras, birthdays, anniversaries, bar mitzvahs, and corporate events such as conferences, business meetings, or company parties.
  • The Pool | Located next to the clubhouse along with the air conditioned restrooms and showers. Enjoy our outstanding rock-decked pool area with beautiful landscaping and wonderful views.
  • The Laundry Room | A pleasant air conditioned room with plenty of high quality new appliance to ease the chore of doing laundry.
  • RV Sites | 103 full hookup sites at Top of the Hill RV Resort include 35 spacious pull-through sites, 6 concrete sites, and 17 Platinum luxury sites in a park-like setting with its rolling terrain. Located on a tiered, high mesa, you have great views in all directions. Many sites have access to our free limited WiFi (no streaming or large downloads, please). Top of the Hill's staff make every effort to ensure that your check-in is pleasant and quick, then you are escorted to your site to provide quick hassle-free setup of your RV to allow more time for relaxing.
  • All Hook-Up Sites Include: 20/30/50 Amp Electric, Water/Sewer hookup, and Free Limited Wifi. Sterling Sites are Standard and Tent sites. Gold Sites are Premium sites which include concrete sites on top of the hill (except Platinum and tent sites). Platinum Sites are Luxury sites that include sites on top of the hill, close to facilities, large picnic tables, decomposed granite to keep them level, concrete edges, enhanced landscaping, and a second side-by-side parking spot available on some sites.
  • Facilities and other Amenities include: Tents welcome, clubhouse with full kitchen, recreation room, exercise room, guest computer with internet, banquet hall with kitchen for events, pool, shower facilities, laundry room, community fire ring, a BBQ grill with smoker, propane available, guest mail accepted, photocopies available, credit cards accepted.

  • 30 minutes from San Antonio! Things to do and see: San Antonio River Walk, SeaWorld, Six Flags Fiesta Texas & Water Park, San Antonio Zoo, Many Golf Courses, Shopping, and Learn about the history of Texas Hill Country.
  • Visit the wineries and area vineyards that produce marvelous wines beginning to get noticed by wine experts across the US. Texas wineries in the Hill Country are as beautiful to see, experience as they are to taste! Texas Hill Country is home to these locations: Sister Creek Vineyards, Comfort Cellars, Becker's, Dry Comal Creek, and many more. All specializing in varieties of Cabernets, blush, Chardonnays, Ports, Chenin Blanc, Pinot Noir and many other varieties. These vineyards are a brilliant experience to see the Hill Country at its best. Vineyard tour maps are available in Top of the Hill's General Store.
  • If you fancy craft beer, try the Hill Country Craft Beer Trail to enjoy a cruise of some of our local craft breweries.
  • Drive to nearby historic, interesting towns like Boerne, Comfort, Kerrville, Luckenbach, Fredericksburg and San Antonio. Tour The Alamo, President Lyndon Johnson's boyhood home at the LBJ ranch near Johnson City or the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg. The Boerne Chamber of Commerce, Comfort Chamber of Commerce and the Boerne Texas Convention and Visitors Bureau are excellent sources of local information.
  • Boerne, Texas is located just 10 minutes from Top of the Hill RV Resort. In the charming historic district of downtown Boerne, you will find a mixture of quaint antique boutiques with charming hospitality, specialty stores, art galleries, along with delicious cafes and restaurants. Stroll along Main Street and enjoy galleries, museums, antique shopping, turn-of-the-century architecture, gardens and 'river walk'. Boerne provides all the ambiance of a larger city, with a relaxing setting for a gateway vacation.
  • Hill Country Scenic Drives: Take a day trip to see the scenic Hill Country and view the tree-studded limestone hills to the claim of "Texas' friendliest people". The clear running streams only add to the charm of the historic towns. In the month of April, see the famous Blue Bonnets and other wildflowers. Day touring can be done in several days, but it's best to absorb them at a slow pace.
  • A Cave Without A Name: Impressive limestone formations and caves surround the Hill Country, however, there is a special cave, "A Cave Without a Name". Some say the most beautiful in Texas, but definitely too breathtaking to be named. The cave is easily accessible and it is a comfortable 66 degree climate to visit year round for the entire family
  • Bat Cave: Home to thousands of Mexican free trailed bats. View their nightly exodus June through October. Just 15 miles outside of Comfort, TX.
  • Enchanted Rock: A Texas State Park with over 1600 acres on Big Sandy Creek. The rock is a huge, pink granite exfoliation dome that rises 425 feet above ground. Enjoy primitive backpacking, camping, climbing or even a simple picnic.
  • Guadalupe State Park: The clear-flowing water of the Guadalupe River, with banks lined by huge bald cypress trees, is the 1939 acre park's most outstanding natural feature. On its winding path through a segment of the Texas Hill Country, the river is noted for its ruggedness and scenic beauty as it courses over four natural rapids and two steep limestone bluffs which reflect its awesome erosive power.
  • Pedernales Falls State Park: This 5211.7 acre park, located east of Johnson City, is located along the banks of scenic Pedernales River. This area, formerly the Circle Bar Ranch, typifies the Edwards Plateau terrain.
  • Golfing: Buckhorn Golf Course, La Cantera, and Hill Country Hyatt Regency Golf Course
