Singing Hills RV Park and Campground is the place to be when visiting Mammoth Cave National Park. Singing Hills has an “out in the country” feel, while being close to many area attractions. Most guests come here for the genuine hospitality, peace, and quiet offered at Singing Hills. Eldon and Beth Brown, the owners, realize that wherever you park your rig tonight, that’s “home.” They strive to make sure each guest feels at home and at ease. Because of that welcoming atmosphere, many guests come back year after year.
|Large Pull-Thrus can accommodate up to 65ft RV.|
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park. Eldon and Beth are always willing to let guests receive mail, faxes, packages, etc. at the office. Anything the owners can do to make things more convenient for their guests, they are willing to do. The philosophy at Singing Hills is “do what works.” The reservation system at Singing Hills is a three ring binder with a pencil and eraser. That way, if the hard drive crashes, Eldon and Beth still know who is coming. Reservations are done on the honor system. You call (270) 773-3789 and give your name and cell phone number. Then the owners assume that you will arrive when scheduled or that, if your plans change, you are honorable enough to call and let them know so that site can be rented to someone else.
The peace and quiet at the campground is perfect for families who enjoy being together while participating in a simpler way of life.
Many home school families choose Singing Hills as their base from which to explore the caves. The children enjoy the free “catch and release” fishing. They enjoy being able to play volleyball out in the back field, play ladder golf, swing, and amuse themselves catching frogs or riding bikes on the gravel roads of the park. There are some loaner books for children that are kept in the office. The peace and quiet at the campground is perfect for families who enjoy being together while participating in a simpler way of life. In the office, there are “loaner” pages available featuring the birds, moths, and butterflies that are often seen in this part of KY. Many families enjoy watching the birds and insects to see how many they can spot during their visit. Learning opportunities abound.

Singing Hills RV Park and Campground is only two miles from the entrance to Mammoth Cave National Park. The owners always recommend that guests allow 20 minutes to travel from Singing Hills to the Visitor Center at Mammoth Cave National Park. It’s only seven miles, but there are often deer or turkey crossing the road and they don’t particularly care whether or not a person is on time for a cave tour. ;-) There are other privately owned caves in the area. Each cave and tour is different. Adventure is just around the corner when exploring the caves.
Singing Hills is about 30 minutes from the CorvetteMuseum in Bowling Green. The campground is a couple of miles away from the two zip lines and horseback riding attractions. The campground is very close to most of the area attractions. If you enjoy peace and quiet, and a laid back, simple way of life, Singing Hills is the place to be. People come as guests and usually leave as friends.

The owners were beyond friendly and super accommodating to our late check out needs. The facilities were clean, the park was small and in need of a grass cutting, which they did while we were there. Upon arrival they hand out a flier of local things to do, which is super helpful and is just an added nice touch. It's a small family operation and I think they are doing a great job in the customer service department. Especially in this world where it is now at an all time low. They are really trying hard for their customers and are making improvements everyday. I would definitely stay here again!
Stayed at this park with two of our grand children a few years back when the Browns first bought the park. They were exceptional people who really care about their patrons. Plan a trip that way again this year and this will most definetly be a stop we will look forward to. Can't wait to see what they've done with the park as I know they had great plans for the future.
